HOW TO GET STARTED

Come and try us out! Each of our gyms offer Free Introductory CrossFit Classes and Beginner Classes at various times throughout the week. You are welcome to attend any of our Free Intro Classes or if you know you are ready to join us you can start by signing up for our Elements Course. During Elemenets, we teach our new members the basics of CrossFit to ensure you move safely and feel comfortable working out with us. CROSSFIT DEFINED

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS FOR A FUNCTIONAL LIFE

CrossFit is a fitness program based on the idea that all the exercises we do in the gym directly translate to the way we move in real life. CrossFit workouts combine a variety of activities in many different ways. In CrossFit we lift weights, run, row, bike, jump, and carry things. We also do body weight movements such as push ups and pull ups. There are so many options we are able to do a different workout everyday.

In additional to the well known health benefits of exercising, things we do daily such as taking the stairs, carrying groceries or picking up a box off the front porch become easier when you are stronger. A Sunday afternoon bike ride is enjoyable when you are fit. Keeping up with young children is not so tiring when you have more stamina as a result of regularly working out. Our work inside the gym, helps us to life a better life outside the gym.

COACHING AND SAFETY

Something that sets CrossFit apart from other workout programs is that we all workout together, in a group, and with a coach every workout. Something that sets Ute CrossFit apart from other gyms is that our coaches are well educated, very knowledgeable and experienced. Our coaches teach proper technique to ensure our bodies move safely and efficiently so we receive optimal benefits from each workout.

CROSSFIT REALLY IS FOR EVERYONE

All human beings from competing athletes to the elderly benefit from fitness. Athletes use fitness to improve their game while the elderly use fitness to live a higher quality of life. The rest of us use fitness to stay healthy, look better and feel good. All the activities in CrossFit workouts can be scaled for everyone’s ability. As an example, running can be scaled down to rowing or walking for lower fitness levels, or it can be scaled up to running with a weighted vest for higher fitness levels. Ute CrossFit coaches are experts at helping our members scale their workouts so we can all achieve our fitness goals. Put in the work and you will see results.
