CrossFit is a fitness program based on constantly varied functional movements.  It scales to everyone’s ability. Workouts are programmed around the most efficient way to move your body and lift or carry weighted objects.  This can be accomplished by using one’s own body weight to working out with a heavy barbell and many objects in between .  We carefully coach each member on how to move correctly.  Once a person can move properly, safely and with consistency then intensity can be added.  All workouts are performed in a group with a CrossFit certified coach.  Each day the workout is different.

Before attending regular workouts, also known as WODs, new members attend Elements.  These classes are conducted in smaller more personal groups. At Elements, new members learn basic CrossFit movements and are familiarized with the general structure of CrossFit workouts.  At Ute CrossFit we strive to make sure our new members are comfortable moving into the group workout environment.  Elements classes are available at Ute CrossFit Downtown SLC or Ute CrossFit East Draper.  See our Class Schedules for Elements dates and times.
